2023 gARTen 7 – Close to the Earth

A thematic exploration of the work of Karl Friedrich Schimper.
Throughout his life, Schimper was involved in many scientific topics – among other things, he conducted research and observations in botany. For example, he published works on the principles of leaf arrangement. In his investigations, Schimper repeatedly attempted to connect seemingly unrelated disciplines.
It is not known whether he ever studied the phenomenon of light – such a connection would be pure fiction.
